We connected on Bumble in August 2018. Becca swiped right on a cute guy with a cute dog and Brian cracked a joke, and we quickly hit it off.

In 2019 we attended many weddings, saw some great concerts, as well as established a tradition of our annual trip to the pumpkin patch.

We took a road trip through Colorado and Utah to attend Brian's brother's wedding in Montrose, CO. Along the way, we stopped at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Arches National Park, and Canyonlands National Park. We loved getting to explore such a beautiful area of the country and had a blast camping in Moab, UT.

While on a family trip to San Diego, we explored Brian's old stomping grounds from his time living there. We also drove to Joshua Tree National Park to camp and explore the desert.

After Becca finished grad school, we took a trip to Colorado to hike Gray's peak with Walter.

We moved from Overland Park, KS to Iowa City, IA. Becca started a new job at The University of Iowa Hospital.

We bought our first home in Iowa City. We quickly got used to lots of lawn mowing, leaf raking, and snow shoveling! Our first Iowa winter together brought a huge snow storm that shut down the city buses.

We eloped in Manhattan, KS with Becca's grandparents, who signed our marriage certificate as our witnesses. Becca's grandfather died two weeks later, and her grandmother died in July 2024. We are so grateful to have gotten to share these precious moments with them, and to have their signatures forever on our marriage license.

We love to tear it up on the dance floor, enjoy a nice cocktail, and spend time with friends and family. We look forward to celebrating our marriage with you all in October!
