Q + A

Where are we staying?

The Beachcomber hotel! They have 65 rooms all together so plenty of space. They said to book room NO LATER than 3 months before Sept. The plan is to have all 14 on the bottom mates deck for our party so we can have the deck to ourselves! So make sure to try to book a deck room. https://www.thebeachcombermotel.com/our-guests/rooms/

How many nights are we staying?

That is up to you! Most people will be staying 2 nights but if you want to come early on Saturday check into the hotel and get ready the same day for the wedding, you can do that! Whatever is best for your family.

What do we wear?

We ask that you wear something neutral like black, tan, gray, navy blue ect. OR you can wear fall colors to match our color scheme. Maroon, emerald green, terracotta, gold, burgundy, pumpkin ect. Doesn't have to be super dressy, but you can if you want. We just want you to be comfy! If you have any questions just text us!

What is for dinner?

PIZZA! We will post the menu when we have more info.

What will reception look like? Alcohol? Music?

SO since we are not doing a "traditional" reception. It will be more like a hang out "after party" on the deck/beach. Music: No Dj, we will make a playlist & set up speaker for music, music will be PG due to being in public. Alcohol: We will be purchasing some, but request that if you want something specific bring an ice chest with your favorite beverage! DRINK RESPONSIBLY. Remember, the hotel is NOT a venue, so we have to be courteous of other guests that may be staying there as well.

Can we bring our kids?

We LOVE your kids and if this was at an actual venue where they could be in a secluded area we would say of course! BUT since this is on the beach and not secluded..we kindly ask you to treat this as a date night/weekend and ask a loved one to watch them. If you can't, we completely understand your kiddos come first! We can celebrate another time!
