They met when Becca went to learn how to play D&D. The group was waiting for the dungeon master, Jacob, since he lived in Alabama. Jacob comes in to tell the story and guide the party along on an adventure. With lots of laughs during the session, Becca was drawn to Jacob’s humor and charisma. He put a smile on her face that had not been seen in a while.

After the event, Becca found Jacob on Facebook and started chatting. Jacob was living in Alabama at the time, so video chat hang outs and dates to get to know each other were a must.

Quickly they became close and were a couple. With many things in common, it felt right.

Jacob moved to Atlanta for work, but also to be with Becca.

After a year, they moved in together to their current home in Cumming, GA with Becca’s two cats and Jacob’s dog. And you can’t forgot Becca’s two 75 gallon fish tanks with 5 axolotls!

Jacob planned to propose during Thanksgiving 2024, but the ring was delayed. He carried it around in his pocket until the time felt right, which was December 24th, 2024 after a visit with her parents.
