This love story began on a warm August evening in 2021 at one of their favorite local hangouts, Sports Break. It wasn’t just another night out—it was the night that Braxton and Becca first crossed paths, thanks to a little matchmaking and a good amount of convincing from friends.

Earlier that day, Becca had met Braxton’s stepmom through work, who, sensing a potential spark, decided to take a leap of faith and jot down Becca’s number for the future. Later that night when out for dinner with friends, Becca received a text from Cindy, who on a whim, invited her to join her and her family at Sports Break that evening. What seemed like a casual invitation turned out to be the start of something truly magical.

With a lot of convincing from her friends, Becca agreed to take a leap of faith and go! When she arrived, she was warmly welcomed by Cindy and introduced to Braxton and the rest of the group as they celebrated his birthday earlier that week. They quickly found themselves in a conversation that flowed with ease. As they laughed and chatted, it became clear that there was a special connection between those two. Fun fact: Becca’s best friend, Bethany, jokingly documented the night and the fact that “Becca may have just met her husband.” Their conversation was filled with easy laughter and genuine interest, making it feel like they had known each other far longer than just a few hours.
