CONSTRUCTION:

Please be aware of the construction on I-43. The area near the Brown Deer exit may still be down lanes and/or there may be a detour for that exit. Keep in mind the start time of the celebration coincides with rush hour as well!

BIRDS:

There will be a Raptor Meet and Greet during the cocktail hour from 5:30p to 6:30p. Four birds (a mix of owls, hawks, eagles, and falcons) and their handlers will be mingling with the guests. Be prepared to meet some birds of prey!

DINNER:

We are having a later start for dinner at 7:45pm. Appetizers will be provided at cocktail hour from 5:30pm - 6:30pm.

CEREMONY:

The ceremony will be outside in a grove of trees. The guests will be asked to walk on a woodchip path. Please consider this when choosing your footwear. Also, please dress for the weather and be prepared for the possibility of insects (insect repellent will be provided).

PARKING:

The center allows cars to be parked overnight for pickup the following morning between 9:00 and 11:00am.

BATHROOM:

There is a bathroom facility next to the outdoor ceremony space for guest use.

We ask that all our guests be respectful to the Nature Center and follow their rules:

The following are prohibited on the grounds: rice, confetti, glitter, balloons, sparklers, candles and dried vegetation/flowers

Smoking is not permitted on the trails or in the ceremony space. Cigarettes are permitted on the porch next to the main building. Cigars are not allowed on the center grounds.

Don't leave your empty beverage containers or cocktail napkins in the ceremony space or on the veranda. Please, dispose of them properly.

The trails are off limits after 5pm. If you would like to take a stroll on the grounds please arrive early.
