Their journey began on February 12th, 2023, while preparing to volunteer for an event. Becky was assisting guests, and Nick was performing in the band. As they worked together to prepare for the event, they quickly grew close. Nick took the first step and asked Becky out on a date.

Their first date was unforgettable. Nick planned a cozy evening at a lookout point. They grabbed Thai food, and although the rain kept them in the car, Nick had decorated it with fairy lights. They enjoyed the view, listened to a playlist Nick created, and played on the Nintendo Switch—making a rainy night feel magical.

On March 16th, 2023, Nick asked Becky to be his girlfriend during a magical evening at Astra Lumina, a lighting show. He was so mesmerized by the experience that he forgot to ask until the drive home—right in front of Boba Time. Thankfully, Becky said yes.

From there, despite Becky’s hectic work schedule, they always made time for each other. Their favorite spots were coffee and boba shops, and they made weekly visits to a yoga studio Becky introduced to Nick. Over time, they began sharing their passions—Becky taught Nick how to relax, while Nick got Becky into spin class and even taught her how to play tennis.

They took their relationship seriously, always knowing they wanted to build a future together. On December 13th, 2024, Nick proposed to Becky during a work trip in New York, at the elegant Strip Steakhouse. He even planned a surprise engagement photo session the next day at stunning scenic spots, making the start of this new chapter even more perfect.
