The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens
The airport closest and most convenient to the venue is the Palm Springs International Airport (PSP). Nearly all major airlines will get you there, with the exception of Southwest. Alternatively, Ontario International Airport (ONT) is about a 90-minute drive. You can fly into LAX, but it's 140 miles away, and you'll have to contend with LA's legendary traffic. In the Palm Springs area, public transportation is minimal but taxis and Uber are available. You may want to rent a car. Most hotels have free parking.
The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens
We have blocked a limited number of rooms at the Miramonte Resort & Spa (http://www.miramonteresort.com/) in Indian Wells for May 12 and 13. It's a lovely hotel not too far from The Living Desert. If you want to stay there, you must reserve a room for at least those two nights (additional nights at the reduced rate are also available up to 2 days before or after). Please reserve early!
