Can I bring my children?

Yes! Totally up to you. We want everyone to make the most of their trip out to Fraser. For some that might mean a family vacation, for others that means a grown-up getaway. We love your kids, and we want you to have the very best time. Whatever works for you, works for us!

What will the weather be like?

August in Fraser is typically beautiful during the day (mid/upper 70s), then chillier at night (can drop down to the 40s). It is not uncommon for a quick thunderstorm to roll through in the afternoon; if that is the case, it typically clears up quickly. We'll be outside with a big tent which has adjustable options for comfort in all weather.

How do I prepare for the change in altitude?

The elevation in Fraser is 8800ft. For some people it can take a couple days for your body to fully acclimate to the altitude. In the meantime, water is your best friend! Be sure to keep yourself hydrated. We'll also have some ibuprofen & oxygen canisters available if anybody needs it. Ceremony & reception sites are in one place, so no need to prepare for any long walks or hikes.

What is the schedule of the day?

2:00pm - Shuttle service begins 3:00pm - Ceremony begins 3:30pm - Reception begins - food & open bar available throughout the event 8:00pm -10:00pm Return shuttle service circulates 10:00 - Reception concludes

What should I wear?

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding! The dress code is semi-formal attire. For this time of year in the mountains, may we suggest the following attire: Women: sundresses and flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony on the lawn (there are gravel & woodchip walkways, so probably skip the stilettos) Men: light dress shirt with lightweight slacks, jackets and ties optional. The temperature drops after sunset; you might want a sweater or jacket for the evening.

Where should I sit?

Anywhere your heart desires. We will not have assigned seating at the ceremony nor reception. We are fairly confident that this is the best group of people on the planet, we encourage you to make a new friend!

How do I get to and from the venue?

A shuttle service will pick up and drop off from a variety of accommodation options listed in the "Places to Stay" tab. If you are planning to drive, there is plenty of parking available. We ask that you please do not drink and drive. If you miss the last shuttle because you are simply having too much fun... there is a local service called "Scoop a Drunk" that operates similarly to Uber. They'll also take your car home for you. https://www.scoopadrunk.com/

What kind of food will there be?

A food truck will be available throughout the reception serving our favorite dishes from our travels. Dinner options will be available with or without meat, and they can cater to dietary restrictions. Please indicate your preferences as you RSVP. A delicious dessert table will also be available.
