Holy smokes, we are at the 3 week mark! Hopefully we get the final details for travel this week coming up. Happy packing, can’t wait to celebrate and relax!

**Update March 3, 2025** Jenny has informed me that the flight schedule has been released and both flights are direct flights ✈️ woot woot!! Wednesday Jan 21, 2026 we leave WPG at 0800 and arrive at 1404Wednesday Jan 28, we leave at 1500 and land at back in WPG at 1902

(If you can’t find the attachment, it’s under details from the invite itself OR check it out under the menu tab). Please connect with her to put your deposit down for your room/flights before March 31. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Check out the travel tab to find the link to the Barcelo Maya Tropical hotel, which we will be staying at during our stay at the Barcelo Resort.

Q + A

So this is a very summed up version 😆 Eric and I met back in May 2014! I was living on my own and working crazy hours between 2 different jobs and Eric at the time, was living with his parents and was close to finishing school to become an electrician. Our early months of dating usually involved lots of dinners and dates, late nights and tired days 😂 Eric was the best though, if I wasn’t able to come for Sunday dinner, he’d bring me a plate of food to work. Or if I wanted a Starbucks, he’d bring me a Vannila Bean Frappuccino! Any thing I wanted/needed, he’d do it!! ❤️ In the fall of 2014, Eric and I did a road trip to BC where we fell more in love with each other 🙈 After a few months of dating, we talked about starting a family and before you knew it, we were expecting Brielle! We moved in together after 6 months of dating and really got to know each other on a closer level. Eric was working away in Regina during the week and on weekends he was home, it was spent house hunting. In 2015, Brielle was born, and we grew into the role of young parents together and finally found our forever home on Willow Point Rd. As the years carried on, I finished nursing school in 2019, and a few months after that, we found out we were expecting again. We welcomed Felix into our lives in 2020 in the mix of a pandemic followed by Natalie in 2022. In 2023, we went on our first family road trip to Alberta and back, stopping at all the touristy places we could 🙂 Eric finally popped the question in 2024 on my 30th birthday at the Forks, the same place as our first date! Our love story isn’t what you see in the movies but it’s OUR’s and that’s what makes it special to us. We have so many more adventures to come as a family of 5. This vacation will be our first hot one ever and will be full of many firsts for all of us. We can’t wait to have some of the most special and important people in our lives there with us to celebrate!

Hey 👋 With the spring and summer months nearing upon us, stores have started to put out their spring/summer wear!! We’d like our guests to have a nice light, airy themed attire. We’re thinking shades of blues, greens, tans, greys or even lighter pinks. Think pastel colours 😊 Florals/prints/plaids are welcome!! See photos for reference.

Beach casual style guide for women:&nbsp; -You can choose dresses with playful prints, or any lightweight fabric like cotton or linen.&nbsp; -Stay away from dark colours, opt for lighter or brighter-Mini, midi, or maxi dresses are all appropriate-Flat sandals or wedges work best with sand Beach casual style guide for men:&nbsp; Men can wear an even more casual outfit than women with shorts and a button-down shirt.&nbsp;Linen is the perfect fabric for beach weddings as it’s airy and oh-so beachy. Look extra relaxed by leaving your shirt untucked! -Avoid dark colours, steer towards pastels or neutrals-Long pants or shorts both work-Boat shoes, loafers, or sandals are dress code approved!
