Our Journey

Zach and I met on Bumble. My mom and I were cleaning the camper, and I remember her asking me about 15 times who I was talking to. His profile had something about sitting on a boat drinking White Claws, so the first initial message to him was a picture of men dressed in women business attire in high heals, drinking them. Must have impressed him! :)

The next night we met at Carroll Brewery, had a couple drinks, went across the road to another bar. My friend, Nicole, had come with me that night, and I remember facetiming Jen at that second bar, and we all planned to go boating Saturday.

Saturday came, we all went boating, went back to my parents, in which they came home (so got to meet Zach on Day 2)- and went back uptown. The rest is history and here we are today.

Zach and I have made so many memories together, already. Our first trip was to Sayulita, Mexico, to see his college buddy get married. We've been to Las Vegas, Montana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Cozumel, and one of our favorite places (where we got engaged), the Black Hills.

After buying a house together in 2021, we decided to add our favorite little boy, Willy, into our lives. He is such a lover, and it is so fun to do life together! I've always been a huge dog person, and it truly melts my heart to watch Zach and his relationship build. Willy literally does everything with us!

So how did Zach propose?

We were at our cabin we rented in the Black Hills, and we had a little stream running through our property. It was so peaceful. He asked if I wanted to go down by the water and just sit and relax. My mom instantly jumped up and was all about it. So we walk down, and sit on the rocks. Zach looks at me and asks if I wanted to take an awkward prom picture with him under the little wedding trellis that was there. "Let's take one before I get out of the picture mood." Zach handed the phone to my mom, we pose, next thing I know he's down on one knee. TOTAL SHOCK!

We are so excited to have all of you come and help celebrate such an important time in our lives! Our hope is that this is a night you will never forget! Thanks for being such a big part of our lives!
