November 21st, 2013, Becky was employed as the academic interventionist and Jack was employed as the behavior interventionist at Cooper Elementary. They both, individually, joined their Cooper Elementary coworkers for the annual Holiday party. Becky and Jack had been counterparts for the past year and a half. During the party, a coworker comes up to Becky and tells her that Jack is putting in his two-weeks notice the next day. This was a surprise to everyone. Well, Becky had a surprise herself. With this newly acquired knowledge, Becky goes up to Jack, puts her arm around his waist and says, "So I hear you're putting your two-weeks notices in tomorrow?" Jack says, "Yeah." Becky replies, "Well so am I!" They ended up leaving together, heading to another bar where they talked for hours. The rest is history.
