After being friends in college for a year and a half, Noel and Bekah started getting closer and calling and FaceTiming over summer break. Noel came to visit Virginia for the first time and they went on their first "date" to downtown Norfolk for dinner with Bekah's brother and sister-in- law.

Once they got back to school some of Bekah's friends took her and Noel to a park where Noel had planned a picnic with charcuterie, sparkling cider, and a ring with an "N" on it. At sunset, Noel asked Bekah to officially be his girlfriend and she couldn't have been more excited!

After Christmas, Bekah went to visit Noel's family for the first time, and while she might have given every single one of them a stomach bug, they welcomed her into their home like family.

Next, Noel came on his first Pearson Family vacation, where he made quick friends with all the little nieces.

After another semester at PCC together, Noel, Bekah and Bekah's mom made a trip to Charleston, SC. They had so much fun exploring the city and eating good food.

Noel's next Virginia visit brought some fishing, painting, rollercoasters, and another downtown Norfolk date... this was also the trip that Noel asked Bekah's dad if he could marry her!!

During their last semester together before Noel graduated, Bekah and Noel got the opportunity to participate in PCC's 50th-anniversary celebration and share their love for singing side by side with an audience of over 7,000 people.

One of Noel and Bekah's favorite memories to date was their visit to New York City. Noel had the amazing privilege to sing alongside some schoolmates in Carnegie Hall!! Bekah and both of their moms got to come to listen to him and it was remarkable. A trip they will never forget.

Last but certainly not least, during a visit to Noel's hometown in Indiana, Noel popped the question! It was New Year's Eve when Noel's family brought Bekah and Noel to a small park where Noel led Bekah through a path of candles to a gazebo. At midnight, Noel got on one knee and asked Bekah to marry him. She said yes of course, and immediately not only did fireworks start going off, but the first snow of 2024 started to fall. The most beautiful and sweet memory.
