Matt and Bella met in middle school and quickly became best friends. Soon after, their feelings for each other started to grow and it wasn't long before Matt asked Bella out. Their first date was at Chipotle at the end of their freshman year of high school.

Matt often rode his bike to Bella's house since they lived only five minutes from each other! Throughout high school they were inseparable and were lucky enough to have several classes together too! They went to junior prom together and graduated as proud high school sweethearts in 2020.

After high school, life took them on different paths for college. Matt stayed in Connecticut at Fairfield University, while Bella headed to Bentley University in Massachusetts. They navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship, making the most of every holiday break and weekend visit.

In the spring of 2023, Matt and Bella finally spent a semester together; they studied abroad in Florence, Italy. They explored Florence during the week and traveled frequently around Italy on the weekends. They visited beautiful cities together, such as Barcelona, Venice, Rome, Milan, Naples, Amalfi Coast, Pisa. It was during one of these weekend trips, on April 15th, at the stunning Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como, that Matt proposed. The backdrop of Lake Como, combined with their love for Star Wars, made the moment truly out of this world.

Now, as Matt and Bella prepare to celebrate their wedding, they look back on over seven wonderful years together. They've grown from high school sweethearts into lifelong partners. With their eighth anniversary approaching, they're excited to begin this new chapter as husband and wife, surrounded by loved ones
