Once upon a time, amidst the roaring noise and stumbling fans of Davis Wade Stadium, destiny wove its thread. It was October 16th, 2021, in the Junction of Starkville, where Mississippi State University “played” Alabama in a not-so-thrilling football game. Amongst all of the fans and chaos, I caught the sight of Jacob, standing tall and captivating everyone around him.

In a moment of boldness, (with some help of a little liquid courage) I crossed the divide and introduced myself to Jacob, making sure to add in how handsome I thought he was, sparking a connection that would lead us to where we are today. I remember telling my friend KDM “Oh I’m going to marry him, just watch.” the very night we met. I knew from the moment I saw him; it was endgame for me. From that fateful meeting, our love story has unfolded, vibrant and thrilling, as we venture hand in hand through life's journey.

Our love for exploration and discovery has led us to traverse the globe together. From the picturesque landscapes of Austria, where Jacob proposed surrounded by the smell of deep fried wiener schnitzel and views of rolling green hills, to the bustling streets of New Orleans, where our hearts beat to the rhythms of jazz and the flavors of Creole cuisine. We have truly embraced every moment together.

In our travels, we’ve wandered through five countries, each one leaving an extraordinary mark on our lives. Yet, along the grandeur of distant lands, it is New Orleans that holds a special place in our hearts. It was there, amongst the charm of the French Quarter and the timeless allure of the Mississippi River, that we knew we wanted to begin our forever journey. It was our first trip together, it was where Jacob used to visit with his dad, it was where my family and I visited often, and it was where we both exchanged “I love you” to each other for the first time.

And so, it is with joyous hearts and boundless love that we invite you to join us in celebrating our marriage in the city where our love story blossomed. As we exchange vows in the heart of the garden district in New Orleans, surrounded by the warmth of family and friends, let us rejoice in the magic of love and the promise of a lifetime together.
