We recommend you fly into the Florence airport, Petretola. It's 50Km/45 min drive to Panzano, Tuscany where the wedding venue is located. We recommend renting a car from the airport if you can! Otherwise you can grab a cab from the airport and it costs around 80 EURO.
You can also fly into Rome airport. It is a 1hr 30 min train into Florence and costs around 40 EURO. You would then need to get a cab or rent a car from Florence to get to Panzano.
Alternatively, you can fly into Pisa airport. This is a 1hr 30min drive, you would need to rent a car or get a car hire to take you into Panzano.
Flying can be unreliable these days, we recommend you book a flight a day in advance to attend all events. If you are part of the bridal/grooms party events start at noon on Friday the 23rd so please plan accordingly. If you would like to attend the BBQ on Sunday then I would also recommend flying out on Monday Sep 25th.
There will be transport to and from the Venue on the wedding day only- Saturday Sep 23rd. For all other events please arrange your transportation.

In a document from 1427, Bernardo di Bartolomeo Gherardi describes this little farm in detail, with its forests and firm soil, main farmhouse and barn. The name in Latin, casulae (meaning “small houses”), refers to these very two small stone farmhouses nestled between the olive trees.

Getting Around
Tuscany is a very large and spread out area, if you plan on exploring the area before or after we recommend renting a car. If you fly into Florence you can rent a car from SIXT, enterprise or locauto.
If you do not want to rent a car then you can take a bus to Panzano (where the wedding venue is)
