What is the wedding attire?

Semi-Formal Men:- Suit-Slacks with sport coat, vest, or nice collared button down-Jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats are okay if you dress it up with sports coat, vest, or nice collared button down Women:-Short (not mini), Mid-Lenth or Long Dress with heels, flats, or whatever shoes you are by comfortable in-Cowboy boots are okay if you dress it up-You can always change into boots after the ceremony as well

Welcome to our travel page. For those of you arriving by flight it is best to fly into Nashville (BNA) airport. You will need to rent a vehicle in order to get to our destination as there are no ubers or lyfts available to transport you. The distance is about 123 miles (2+ hours) mostly along highway and country roads. The hotels and other forms of accommodations are listed below.

A block of rooms has been reserved with special rates for our guests. You can use the link below or contact the hotel directly to reserve your room. The drive from the Nashville Airport to Sandy Creek Farms and the surrounding area is a little over 2 hours (123 miles). Enjoy the splendor and wonder of Sandy Creek Farms as we will be hosting a welcome party from 11:00-3:00 on Friday, May 23, 2025. This 430 acre property includes a stable, a lake, an island, a pine forest, a green house, many trails plus much more. The wedding on Saturday, May 24, will take place on the island weather permitting. The surrounding areas in and around Springville include Kentucky Lake, the Big Sandy River, the town of Paris, and Paris Landing State Park. You can enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, and sight seeing.

Transportation to Sandy Creek Farms

*Shuttle space is limited and there are few options for uber/lyft in this area. If you are able to drive/carpool, please do so. The Hampton Inn is a 12-15 minute drive to Sandy Creek Farms. Before deciding on transportation, view the information below. Please note the departure times because they are set to leave the venue late in the evening.* Round trip transportation will only be provided from the Hampton Inn to Sandy Creek Farms on May 24th. We currently have one shuttle, holding 14 passengers, that will be doing 3 round trips (3 pick ups from the Hampton Inn and 3 drop offs after the wedding to the Hampton Inn) at set times. Depending on how many people request transportation, we may add another shuttle. Otherwise, the shuttle is first come first serve. There will be a sign up sheet at the front desk of the Hampton Inn. If you would like transportation, you must sign the "Departing Hotel" sheet and the "Departing Sandy Creek Farms (SCF)" sheet. Once you sign up for both, you will be guaranteed a ride to and from the wedding venue. Departing the Hampton Inn *Times are subject to change*The shuttle will arrive to the Hampton Inn for pick up at 2:15pm, 2:50pm, and 3:25pm. From the time of arrival, it will wait 5 minutes until departing the hotel. Departing Sandy Creek Farms*Times are subject to change*The shuttle will depart Sandy Creek Farms at 10:20pm, 10:55pm, and 11:30pm to drop off at the Hampton Inn.
