Bella & Jacob

September 21, 2024 • Darby, MT

Where is the venue?

The wedding will be held at the Starkweather's family home in Darby, MT (a.k.a. the Farmhouse). The home was built in the late 1800s and sits on a peaceful property at the base of the Bitterroot Mountains. Bella and Jacob have shared many memories at the Farmhouse and could not envision a more special place to have their wedding.

What is the attire?

Semi-formal (ladies in dresses & gentleman in slacks, jacket optional) *Note: When choosing footwear and outerwear, please keep in mind that the wedding will be outdoors (mostly grass). Also, September nights in Montana can get a little chilly!

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Please arrive at the venue at 4:00 PM as the ceremony will start at 4:30 PM.

Will there be parking available at the venue?

Yes! There will be plenty of parking available at the venue.

Will there be a shuttle service on the day of the wedding?

Yes! If you would prefer not to drive, the shuttle will leave Missoula at 2:15 PM and will make a stop in Hamilton at 3:30 PM before arriving at the venue at 4:00 PM. The shuttle will also take you back to Hamilton/Missoula once the wedding is over. Please refer to the "Travel & Lodging" tab for more details on pick-up/drop-off locations. Spacing is limited, so please let us know in the RSVP if you plan to take the shuttle.

What's the easiest way to get to Darby?

The easiest way to get to Darby is by flying into Missoula. Darby is a little over one hour away from Missoula. If you are staying in Missoula or somewhere down the Bitterroot Valley, we recommend renting a car. We are also offering a shuttle service on the day of the wedding.

Will I be able to use uber/lyft as my main form of transportation?

If you are planning to stay in Missoula, you will definitely be able to use Uber/Lyft to get around the city and to go to/from the airport. However, we do not recommend using it to travel to Darby as it will be expensive and availability will be very limited.
