Our "ceremony" is an adventure elopement in Alaska! Our hope is to have plenty of pictures displayed during the reception on November 22nd.
What should I expect at this event?
When we chose to get married via adventure elopement, we knew that we could not include everyone in that adventure. This event is a PARTY where everyone is welcome - food, music, well wishes, and extremely good vibes are expected.
What is the dress code for this shindig?
We will be wearing our wedding digs or similar (TBD, but definitely in the "cocktail attire" arena). We think being comfortable and in something you can dance in is most important! If you need something Google-able, I'd aim for attire somewhere between "cocktail" and "dressy casual", but our dress code is really more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules.
What is the food & bev situation?
The Yale Theater contains a fully functioning bar, and will be serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We have also arranged for an outside caterer (TBD). At this time, we are not planning on pre-ordering food. You should expect a buffet-style menu.
Are my children welcome?
Yes! We want to celebrate with our friends, family, and their littles! Please just remember to include them in your RSVP!
How's the parking at the Yale Theater?
Sparse but available. There are 30 parking spots behind the building, as well as street parking in front of the building. May the odds be ever in your favor.
