We've secured a room block at the DoubleTree in Arlington Heights. We have a few rooms blocked for anyone who would like to stay on Friday night, with additional rooms blocked for Saturday night. If you'd like to make your reservation over the phone, please call the number above and ask for the Tereza Grafe Wedding Block. Please note that to be guaranteed a room in the block, all reservations must be made by Friday, June 5.

Our story began on the shores of The Mighty Mississippi through our shared love of music and singing in choir. Starting in 2020, we spent nearly three years in choir together as friends, making countless memories as we toured with The Augustana Choir through Germany, The Czech Republic, and the heart of The Midwest. It wasn't until April of 2023, only 6 weeks before Ben was set to graduate college, that we went on our first date (to a Swedish choir concert, of course). From those first few dates, we knew that we were building something meant to last. Since then, we've managed a year of long distance, though Ben made plenty of visits to the Quad Cities during that time (one of the many perks of working remote!), traveled to family-favorite destinations, and settled into out first apartment together. In July of 2024, we traveled up to Door County with family. On the last night of the trip, we were getting ready for dinner reservations, but were somehow "running late." This caused what Abri thought to be the beginning of a tension-filled farewell to Door County. To escape what Abri now knows was organized chaos, Ben took Abri outside for a moment of peace and quiet by the water. Another "disruption" took Abri back towards the house, causing her to turn her back on Ben, who was still at the end of the dock. As Abri turned back around towards the dock, Ben was down on one knee with a ring in hand. As a surprise to no one, Abri said "yes!" Now, we look forward to the day where we can make it official with our dearest family and friends surrounding us. We can't wait for June 27th, 2026!
