Their stake president's wife introduced us. Both were at an activity in their stake and she stopped Ben while he was walking by to introduce him to Madeline. They met again a couple months later at his ward conference.

Their first date was May 18th, 2023 at J-Dawgs. It is still one of their favorite places to go.

Ben made a trout farm romantic when he took Madeline there, under the guise of fishing with his family. When they were all running late, the couple decided to look around a bit. Ben took Madeline up to a little pavilion they use for receptions. As they turned, she saw he has set up the little gazebo with lights, flowers, and pictures. It was beautiful and perfect.
