There is plenty to do in Ann Arbor before and after our celebrations!
A great resource is Destination Ann Arbor, which gives you an idea of things to do in and near Ann Arbor
Here are a few of our favorites:
The Ann Arbor Farmer’s market will be bustling on Saturday morning and closes at 3 pm
Nearby Kerrytown has fun stores, restaurants and galleries
The Hands On Museum is a perennial favorite for kids and families
Gallup Park (beautiful large park on the river, with playgrounds and walking paths - have to drive)
There are also several smaller parks near downtown like West Park and Wurster Park
The University of Michigan also has amazing places to visit, most of which are free. Walk around campus and be sure to check out:
The University of Michigan Museum of Art
The University of Michigan Natural History Museum
The Arboretum (a doable walk from downtown)
The Botanical Gardens (a 10 minute drive, plenty of parking)
