Here are some possible routes to consider to avoiding the downtown Estes traffic.

From 36/Lyons:

1. After you cross the lake and go thru the roundabout, turn left at traffic light (South St Vrain Ave/Hwy 7)

2. Drive @1.5 miles. Turn right on Peakview Drive.

3. Drive 1.7 miles. Turn right at the T intersection(Mary’s Lake Rd)

4. Drive 1.5 miles. Turn left at the T intersection(Moraine Ave/36)

5. Drive 0.2 miles, then keep left to head off on Rt 66/YMCA sign

6. Drive 2 miles. The entrance to the Y is on the right.

From 34/Loveland:

1. Just after you round the bend into Estes Park, turn left on Mall Road (mini golf on the left; Olympus Motel on the right).

2. Turn right onto 36, cross the lake, go thru the roundabout, and turn left on South St Vrain/Hwy 7. Continue with the directions above.
