What are some other things we doing to lower the environmental impact of the wedding?

- We opted for an invitation that was made of 100% recycled paper and an online RSVP. When you're done with your invitation, we hope you'll recycle it too ;)

- Waste Management: Did you know that the average wedding can produce 400+ pounds of waste??? Crabtree is providing designated bins for recyclables, compostable items + waste that goes to a landfill. We love this effort on their part + greatly appreciate your cooperation!

- We think carpooling is the coolest and it's a win-win! You get to hang out with friends while helping the planet! Better yet, if you have the ability to do so, you can purchase a carbon offset for your travels.

- In place of paper confetti, we've collected + dried flower petals over the last year which will naturally biodegrade once on the ground!

- The flatware + dishes we purchased are either compostable or recyclable. We plan to work with NewTerra, the composting company in town, to make sure our plates get composted properly!

- We worked hard to thrift, repurpose, and upcycle the items being used for decor. Much of it will be re-used in our new home after the day!
