Our Wedding

It all started in High School! We are High School sweethearts, How Cute!? Ben and I first meet our freshman year of high school in 2014/2015. I (Cassie) was home schooled my freshman year and Ben came to America to attend his first year of high school at Redwood Christian. Throughout our freshman year we would see each other at different church events. I would watch him from a distance but we didn't talk very much. in the fall of 2015 I noticed I didn't see him around anymore so I asked my mom "what happened to that Ben Stirling kid?" she responded, "He went back to China with his family." I was thinking to myself, "I should have talked to him more, became friends and we could have stay connected." Since I couldn't stay connected I kept their family photo in bible to remind me constantly to pray for them. All my friend would make fun of me for doing this. 2 years later he returned to America. I'll never forget the day of walking onto Redwood Christian Schools Elementary campus for the back to school barbecue on August 13, 2017. Looking over and seeing him stand in a group of basketball boys talking. I ran up to him yelling " BENNNNN!!!!" and gave him a massive hug, he didn't recognize me at first but that okay I forgave him later! We spent our senior year together on the same school campus where I was able to see him day in and day out. From there God really grew our relationship through many different trials and challenges! God placed so many example couples in our life to show an example how to love one another, challenge each other to grow, and also face hardship together. On November 7, 2021, when Ben Got down on one knee to ask me to marry him I knew without a shadow of a doubt the answer was YES! I can't imagine walking life with another partner. We have walked so much life together already and I'm excited to continue. Join us in the celebration of our marriage on March 5th, 2022 at 1pm.
