Ben and Khloe's Story

Ben and Khloe's story started back in July 2019. While Ben was in Taiwan for a business trip he happened to meet Khloe through Tinder. Shortly after meeting in Taiwan Khloe headed off to Shanghai for an internship. Leaving Ben to later return to the US. Where they both agreed that we shouldn't start to date due to the distance...HOWEVER. While half a world away Ben and Khloe found they did not and could not stop talking to one another. Through countless texts and hours of video calls they continued to bond. Just in November 2019 Khloe traveled to see Ben in South Korea and China during another business trip they agreed to make it official and begin dating! Everything was looking up as Ben was getting ready to start a work assignment in Wuhan, China at the end of 2019! With Khloe working in Shanghai (a few hours away) everything would be going great! Until Covid started... With Covid starting in China, Khloe fled from China before it reached Shanghai to stay with Ben in the US. There they lived together, while Khloe learned about winter in the US. There were great lessons on: how to fall off of a sled before crashing into a tree, what is a superbowl party, how to win at a Bar-cade, and what in the world is a garbage plate? Before flights outside of the US were cancelled, Khloe headed back to Taiwan. Ben moved to Wuhan China! From the next 1.5 years Ben and Khloe pushed through being in a long distance relationship. Through at least 3 calls a day and countless texts, they managed to grow closer together while still staying so far apart. In November 2022 Ben finished his work assignment in Wuhan and Khloe flew to US to greet him there! Through 3 happy months both agreed that living together was still better than living apart! This became a reality after Ben was invited to move to Taiwan (again for work!). In August 2022 Ben moved to Taiwan and started his lessons on being Taiwan! Ben learned: how to hold on while ridding a scooter, what his favor flavor of tea was, how to say more than thank you in Chinese, and so much more! Ben and Khloe have been living together since August 2022 and in December 2023 Ben asked Khloe to be his Wife! And the rest is history!
