Ben and Dani met back in 2013 at a Bar Mitzvah (shout out to Chiapetta). Ben skipped hockey practice to go to the Bar Mitzvah and both of our moms were late to pick us up (thanks!). So we talked and found out we had a lot in common. So begins the budding romance in our love story. We did the "long distance" thing for about a year 1.5 years, having our parents meet between Eagan and Edina (MOA). We found each other again when we were about 17. Ben came out to see Dani one day and taught her how to drive a stick. Then life happened and we hadn't talked in a while. But after several years, we reconnected, and we found that same flame and connection that we had always had. But again, life happened. Eventually, after about 8 long years of not being in touch, Ben reached out to Dani on TikTok because he liked her car. Dani didn't know who "VivaLaMN" was, so she didn't respond. But a few days later, she met someone from Eagan who grew up next door to Ben. So she reached out to him. We laughed that we still somehow, after all the years, were able to still be mentally in sync. So, we met up again, still felt the connection and the love, and we haven't stopped feeling it yet! The best part, is that Ben has gotten the privilege of getting to have Kira in his life. Kira and Dani voted, and the decision was unanimous: Ben is a great step-dad and loves Kira more than anything! So, as a whole family, we are so excited to FINALLY make it official!
