Remember that sketch show Lina did in her 20s? Bye Bye Liver: The Philadelphia Drinking Show? Yeah! That’s the one. Well, it was their final performance, a true end of an era. Little did she know it was the start of something beautiful and new.

Katey, Lina’s Maid of Honor, had invited a bunch of her Kimmel Center coworkers to join the celebration. Ben seized the opportunity, bringing his brother Brian, soon-to-be sister-in-law Caitlin, and best friend Sage to celebrate his 29th birthday. Naturally, Katey and Lina singled Ben out throughout the show, prompting him to steal the show.

Lina, the Bartender of the evening, initially thought Ben was charming as he introduced himself as Ben Franklin to the audience. “Oh this guy came to play!” she thought to herself. She didn’t fully realize her challenge until the final drinking game. As Ben steamrolled Party Face Girl in a game of categories, he attempted to steal a beer from the set, leaving Lina to wrangle the fairly inebriated Ben back to his seat.

The show ended, bows (and shots) were taken, and Ben and Lina finished the night swiveling their hips on Silk City’s dance floor. The rest is history, board game filled, critter loving, swing dancing history.
