August: I get a text from Mr. Handsome :)

Shortly after the text comes a call from a happy glass maker/expert; we geek out over glass making and stories from a recent trip to Italia.

Mr. Handsome a.k.a Ben requests to take me out for a cup of coffee.

Shows up with a card game and says "Have you played this game before?" It's a version of the game UNO called DOS. "No? Good! Let's learn something together". (Nada enchanted)

Coffee and card games were a success so we continued the date with a planned agenda by Mr. Handsome. Glow in the dark mini golf followed coffee and he was prepared. Pulls out a highlighter pen from his pocket and says... "write on me... it will glow in the dark while we play". I did, I wrote "loser" on his forearm (he lost a few games of Dos!). He drew hearts and his name on the top of my hand. (Nada continues to be enchanted :)

Dinner followed: he listened to my favorite type of food and arranged dinner at an Italian restaurant. The evening ended with a surprise from a bird (bird poop) on his shoulder as he opened the car door for me to say goodbye.

October: After a strange disagreement; calm down, nothing major happened (ask, we both have 2 different versions of what happened). Mr. Handsome asks to continue to build what is becoming a beautiful friendship and relationship.

March 2020: DUN Dun dun... Corona Virus tried to test our relationship and our emotions. We succeeded!

Years kept passing and our friendship and relationship grew stronger. His philosophical and studious ways dove deep into Islam and completed his Shihada.

In celebration of our 3rd anniversary, he asked an important question and I said YES!

Little did we know this was just the beginning of a new chapter in our lives. Next up, 2024 nuptials!
