Good Italian restaurant where Al and I had our first date in 2017. Very close to wedding venue.

Ben and Al's favorite restaurant in Detroit. Upscale Thai fusion.
Our Tex-Mex restaurant of choice in neighboring Mexicantown.

Neighborhood favorite Mexican grocery store. Great spot for produce, essentials, and Mexican specialties.
Close to the venue, great gelato.

Italian water ice located in the heart of downtown. 100% of proceeds go back to Detroiters in need.
Our favorite Mexican bakery with churros, cookies, cakes, and other baked goods. Must try the cappuccino tres leche.
Old school Mexican bakery. Great cinnamon sugar tortilla chips.
Good Detroit brewery. They usually spill out into the street with other local businesses, making it a fun place to hangout in the warmer months.
A little off the beaten path, but one of Ben's favorite breweries.
Great neighborhood brewery with lots of outdoor seating.
Brewery with table games. known for their cerveza del ray Mexican lager.
High end craft cocktail lounge with great drinks. Ben's favorite is a secret menu item, the EFK.
Corktown staple distillery specializing in whiskey, but also make absinthe, gin, vodka and tequila. Book a tour/tasting or enjoy a drink in the tasting room.
College/dive bar with live music/DJs

Detroit's "Central Park" located on an island in the river. Great views of the city.
Belle Isle Beach is always the place to be on any warm day in Detroit. Can get busy by early afternoon depending on weather. Great spot for a picnic with takeout food.
Detroit's main square. Lots of things to see and do around here.
Detroit's iconic sculpture garden and skyline, including Joe Louis's fist and the Spirit of Detroit.
Good for a morning walk with views of downtown, the river and Canada.
Eastern Market is an indoor/outdoor farmers market on Saturdays, with a focus on artists on Sundays.
Offshoot of the Riverwalk connecting the river to Eastern Market. Great murals!
Icon of Detroit! Abandoned for decades, Ford purchased it 2018, and it is expected to reopen to the public the week after the wedding.
New walking path connection Michigan Central Station to the Detroit Riverwalk.
One of the best museums in the Detroit area, especially if you are interested in automotive history. Neighboring Greenfield Village is a nice outdoor park with famous reconstructed buildings, replicas, and reenactments.
