We met through our mutual friends, Alex and Lydia, in London. Ben took the brave step of asking Holly out for a drink, and from that very first date, we knew there was something special. We headed out for drinks, and what was meant to be a casual evening turned into hours of chatting, laughing, and realising just how well we clicked. It was pretty clear, pretty quickly: this was going to be something lasting.

It didn’t take long before we both realised we were in love. We’ve always been partners in adventure — whether it’s road trips, holidays, or simply exploring new corners of London together, we’re at our happiest when we’re out and about (with Maggie, our toy poodle, in tow, of course!).

Fast forward to one particularly beautiful sunrise in Norfolk, and Ben decided it was time to make things official. With the help of the very enthusiastic (and slightly confused) Maggie, he proposed on a beach. Holly had a feeling it was coming, but when it actually happened, it still felt like the best surprise ever.

These days, we call London home, but we’re planning a move to North Yorkshire to swap city life for more time outdoors in the countryside. We’re excited for the next chapter — more adventures, more laughter, and hopefully a slightly bigger family (Maggie is ready to be a big sister!).
