In 2019, Gwyneth and Amanda met during their FedEx Sales internship in Dallas, Texas. During the 10-week internship they spent basically every waking minute together working, exploring Texas, and two-stepping at Red River. Amanda is the friend Gwyneth will be galavanting around Europe with at 80 years old.
Ask Amanda about: The Get Up and The Georgia Bulldogs
Megan Lamar - Maid of Honor
Gwyneth and Megan (best known as Meg) met during their freshman year at Florida Gulf Coast University. The pair were roommates Sophomore to Senior year and ever since, Meg has been Gwyn's ride or die. Many late nights were spent out at gross frat parties or staying up till all hours of the night talking and watching scary movies. Meg wouldn’t bail Gwyn out of jail because she would be sitting right next to her. Keys bah anyone?
Ask Meg about: EDM Festivals
Jen Tomaro - Bridesmaid
When Gwyneth moved to Pittsburgh in 2020 (everyone remember that year?) It was so hard to meet girl friends in a new city she didn't know at all. Jen was her first friend to make her feel incredibly welcome. Hanging out at the dirt bike track, boat days and spontaneous trips to lefty's were what they did best. Gwyn is so excited to have a cousin in-law like Jen.
Ask Jen about: her four year degree in drinking games
Elise Volpi - Bridesmaid
Elise and Gwyneth met at the local line dancing hall (of course), The Grizzly Rose and became fast friends. The two spend most of their time gossiping, learning new line dances and going to country concerts. Miss Volpi is a 3rd grade teacher who loves what she does, even if her kids scare her sometimes. Ask Elise about: tequila shots.
Abbey Vogel - Bridesmaid
Abbey has been helping Gwyneth learn the crazy ways of the Foltz family. From the correct way to float the river at camp to spending long days at AWRCS races everything is always more fun with Abbey around. Gwyneth's new cousin in-law will be a lifelong friend as well. Ask Abbey about: Horses & Photography
Tony Tomaro - Best Man
Tony and Ben took turns sharing hospital beds throughout their lives. From broken legs, ribs, concussions, arms, and so on they alone kept UPMC's lights on and things running smoothly. Throughout the years, they did many things other people would not even think of. Taking trips to Panthers Cave at 3 am would be a casual Tuesday night up camp.
Ask Tony about landscaping, hardscaping, general construction, rock work, indoor renovations, dirt bikes, Harleys, dogs, and keeping stuff really clean and organized 100% of the time.
Frank Jones - Help make good life choices
Frank has been the guy I think about in tough life situations and think WWFD and usually helps me out. Met this tall fella in boot camp and were roommates in Fort Lenard Wood Missouri aka the devils armpit of America as well as the ice box of America. A few blow ups here and there about cleaning our room didn't keep us from life time friends.
From America to Afghan and back Frank will always be one of Bens first calls when in trouble.
Andrew Puciata - Getting in trouble buddy
Oh boy oh boy where do we began. We could go on a while with stories, the time we got suspended from school for fighting each other and then immediately rode to each others house after wards to hang out, the time we fought because Tupac started playing at Jim Wints house playing Madden 08, the time we went to Ocean City and so on. Extremely long story short Pooch and Ben have been friends from Pre school on.
He even got me to join the Marine Corps, very drunk, at a woodser, on a thursday school night after wrestling was done!
Ask for more stories and you shall receive the later the night goes.
Dan Schweikhart - Friend of friend become friend
Met Danny Boy through Pooch over in the 2/6 barracks while watching a guy get staples in his head because there was just a huge fight before I got there on my first day in the fleet. Ever since, Dan has been a close friend and someone to look up to aka second Frank.
Dan taught me how to do the Pyramid of Giza dance one drunken night in Wilmington NC.
Jimmy Zubik - One of my best good friends. Went together like peas and carrots
James and I have known each other since pre-school. Growing up through the woods brought us together a bunch, especially in the summer when I would show up in swim trunks, a scuba mask, and a towel to ask what he wanted to do while side-eyeing his pool. James is and always will be one of my closest friends no matter where in the world we are.
Cory Shirnhofer - Here for a fun time not a long time
Read the role and that's what describes him. Cory was just a short trip through the woods to get to each other's house. Whether he was healing from breaking tib fib femur arms or whatever else I was, we were there to help each other through the pain. Both of us have a very extensive list of injuries, but he has the best with a shark bite coming from 2008 Sr week in Ocean City. Ask and he shall tell.
Jake Szolis - Next door neighbor
I am realizing I can say the same thing for Jimmy Cory Pooch and Jake because we were basically within earshot of each other. TBH I didn't really know of Jake until one day at Eagles football practice you could see just shoulder pads and helmets with absolutely zero care for themselves, demolishing other 7-year-olds. We started hanging out when I moved to the lane and have been to a lot of places since. A little while in Texas and now living in Ohio I do not get to see Jake as much as I want but things remain the same between us when we do get to hang out.
Luke Kramer - Official Pit Crew
Born 16 days apart, Luke came everywhere with my dad and I or mom Tom and I. Whether it was a family vacation, motocross races, wrestling matches, football games, boxing matches, or USMC graduation. They too have fought (fist) most of their childhood and teen life. If you want a good story, ask Luke about seabreeze, my brand new 110, the quad, breaking his ankle at panthers cave, or having a party at my house with out me.
John Jacob Jingle Hymer Kramer (Jake) - Adventure Buddy
Jake is a very unique individual. One that does not go with the current but rather makes his own route. Jake makes it easy to pick up your belongings and go. I thought I had a travel bug or an adventure bug but he puts mine to shame. If you are looking to plan a trip and want to know everything down to the minute, contact Jake. He does not like naked beaches.
Ben Schempp - 2nd Place Friend
Ben and Ben have raced eachother since they were kids but Ben K never knew his name because he does not pay attention to guys that place 5th or worse. There was ONE TIME Ben S beat Ben K at Steel City in 2010 and Ben S holds that over my head since then. Do not let him tell you he was or is faster than me no matter how many beers you or he has. Ben was there when I broke both legs to so dont get to close as he might be bad luck. Ask Ben about oil and gas and what not.
