What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding will be formal attire. Think floor length gowns or a suit and tie/sport coat.
What will the weather be like during this time of year?
The weather will be relatively warm. Average highs will be in the 70's. We are hoping for blue skies and a slightly breezy day, however this is Florida. Given the chance that it could rain, have a rain jacket close by.
Where will the reception and ceremony take place?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. The ceremony will be held on the Oceanfront Lawn, and the reception will be held in the Plaza Ballroom.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outside, unless it rains. The reception will be indoors.
Are there other wedding events I can attend?
YES! We are getting married on a Thursday for a reason. Our plan is to continue the celebration throughout the weekend at the Omni Amelia Island resort. There will be a variety of events for all of our close friends and family.
Is there a room block?
Yes. We will have room blocks for both Ritz-Carlton and Omni.
Are children allowed?
While we adore your little ones, we kindly ask that you make arrangements ahead of time to leave the kids at home, or bring a trusted caregiver with you. That way you can fully celebrate with us!
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
The Ritz-Carlton will offer free valet to all wedding guests.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we do have a strict guest list. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
