We met by the grace of God (& also on Hinge). Shoutout to Miriam's college friends and Ben's best friend to get us on there.

We went to rival schools but never crossed paths (Heritage Christian High School vs. Covenant Christian High School. Taylor University vs. Indiana Wesleyan University).

After we first met for breakfast at Eggshell, we couldn't stop talking and seeing each other. Right before school started Aug. 2024, we spent almost every day the last week of summer together, and Ben asked to officially start dating.

The next year, we cheered each other in our coaching seasons (fall was football for Ben and spring was tennis for Miriam). We spent holidays together, started MANY traditions like our favorite date night dinners at Chuy's, learned new hobbies like golf and tennis, talked for hours on the phone, cheered each other in our careers, prayed for one another, and dreamed about the future together.

After about a year of dating, we went back to one of our first date spots (Coxhall Garden) and Ben proposed and I said YES!

It's WILD to see how parallel our lives have been until God crossed our paths. God truly has some humor and truly is faithful & so good at all times.
