Can I bring a +1 ?
Due to space limitations, we are not able to allow any guests (unless +1 is clearly marked on your invitation) to bring a +1. We hope you understand and enjoy meeting some new friends at the reception!
Can we bring our infant/baby?
YES! We love babies and understand that it's hard for breastfed babies to be away from Mom for more than a few hours! If your child is over two years old, we request that you find a babysitter for the day and enjoy this as a date night for you and your spouse!
What's the dress code?
Formal attire. Not sure what that means? It's okay, I didn't either! Here's a link I found helpful: https://www.theknot.com/content/formal-wedding-attire
If you are a gentleman we ask that you please wear a suit and tie. If you are a lady, please wear a modest dress that has sleeves, is not low cut, and comes at least to your knees. (Bridesmaid dresses are a pale lavender purple in case you don't want to accidentally match!)
As Catholics, we know that Jesus is substantially present in the Holy Eucharist: Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. With that knowledge, we strive to honor and respect Christ in His own house.
Can I take pictures during the vows and Mass?
We have booked a wonderful photographer to take our wedding photos and will gladly send you photos if you'd like! Please make sure that your cell phone is shut off before entering the Church because we want you to enjoy the day unplugged!
What if I'm too dressed up?
This should not at all be your concern! A wedding feast is the perfect time and place for you to be dressed up all fancy!
Marriage is a beautiful reflection of the Holy Trinity so let us approach the wedding feast wearing our very best just like if we were going to meet the King of Kings Himself! Bring on the bling and definitely bring your dancing shoes! If you're still not sure what to wear here is a link you may find helpful! https://www.theknot.com/content/formal-wedding-attire
