The Chouse is a church turned into a house and event space. They have a large gathering room where the ceremony and reception will take place as well as an outdoor area where the bar and games are located.

The ceremony and reception will take place inside of the Chouse. There will be an outdoor section for cocktail hour and pictures!

Please wear something formal, but comfortable. The men in the wedding party will be wearing suits and the women will be wearing long dresses. While we do want this to be somewhat fancy, ultimately it is for us to celebrate how long we have been together and how we will continue to be together, just with different titles. Check the 'Dress Code' Page for ideas!

Yes, there will be an open bar outside.

There is a gravel parking lot directly behind the Chouse and a parking lot with the school that can be used. A map will be on the 'Travel' page.

If you had a little too much to drink, there are staff on hand that can take you back to the hotel. If you did not book a hotel, it would be best if you prearrange someone to get you back home.

Yes, you can leave your car in the gravel or school parking lot near the Chouse and come get it the next morning. This is preferred if you cannot drive and someone else drove you to the hotel or home.

We must leave the Chouse at 9:30/10pm. We will be having our public last dance at 7:50pm so those who would like to retire early can leave at 8pm. After 8pm, music will also be explicit :)

There are a few locations in Troy that would be nice for a drink and snack after! Leaf & Vine is a cigar bar and closes at 1am. Crafted & Cured has some selections of drinks, charcuterie, and closes at 12am.
