Meet the Bride! Bernice was born and raised in Glencoe, Minnesota and is the eldest child in the Ruiz Household. Throughout the years Bernice played soccer in elementary school, was on the varsity team in cheer leading in high school and took extra curriculum activities such as choir, history club and art classes. Moving forward to college years, Bernice followed her mother’s footsteps and applied to the Early Childhood Education Program in Uvalde, Texas. Graduating with an Associates Degree 2 years later, she found her calling working back in Minnesota at a Montessori School in Early Childhood Education as a lead toddler teacher.

Meet the Groom! Eric was born and raised in Silver Lake, Minnesota and is the eldest child in the Klima household. During Eric's younger years, he spent his time playing and learning all things baseball, fishing during summer and winter seasons, and traveling around the states with his family. Later on, Eric attended ARCC, played baseball there, and transferred to SMSU to finish his schooling. As of today, Eric is currently working with the company of 3M as a QC Technician.

Eric and Bernice first met when they were both 14 years old. Although neither went to school together, they were introduced through mutual friends during a gathering called Pola-Czesky Days. Over the next couple of summers during their younger days, their friendship grew more in high school. After some time, they both decided to go on their own paths and attend different colleges to start their futures. Bernice and Eric kept in communication here and there during the time being. Soon after graduating from SWTJC, Bernice was ready to come back home to her family and friends. After reconnecting at a friend's gathering, they decided to give their relationship another chance. Five years later, They are now happily married, share a cat named Opal Olivia and now await for their arrival of their first child come September 2025!
