Our Wedding

<p>We started dating in high school in 2018. By senior year, we decided we’d stick together wherever life took us. That led us to Mansfield University, where we grew up and built a lot of great memories—including an annual camping trip that started freshman year and never stopped. Over the years, we’ve spent our time skiing, snowboarding, going to hockey games, hiking, and taking any chance we get to be outdoors.</p><p>In 2024, Bert proposed to Laura—Ring Pops first, real ring after. She said yes. Eight years later, we’re still choosing each other and looking forward to what’s next.</p>

Max and Bert are hockey-linemates turned backpackers - but backpacking with Max is like hiking 50 miles in the snow with crocs on while getting chased by a bear. Max, if you're reading this, please find shorter hikes.

Sandy is Bert's older sister. They were introduced to each other in September, 2000. She enjoys cleaning and cold case murder podcasts.

Cortney is a cardiac nurse. Fun fact: She glued Laura's head together after a Milwaukee battery fell onto it. This happened hours after Bert and Laura got engaged.

Jill, also known as Bill, has a habit of tripping over nothing. During high school graduation practice, Jill broke her ankle. This made her packing easy for senior week, by only needing one shoe!

Hannah Meyer is from Canada. She helped Laura survive college. She enjoys watching the Toronto Maple Leafs choke in the first round of the playoffs #GoCanes

Uncle Terry is Bert's uncle. He is also a preacher at a local bible chapel. His hobbies include cutting his leg open with an angle grinder and smoking.......meat.

We have two units. One has two bedrooms and a pullout couch. It can sleep 6. Second unit is two bedrooms. One queen bed and the other room has 3 twin beds. Living room also has a twin bed option. Sleeps 6. Both units are in the same building. If you are interested, please let us know asap!
