Our Wedding

Bertin and Carmi’s story began at their home church, FAC of Tyler, where they met when Bertin was 11 and Carmi was 13. Growing up in Tyler, Texas, they spent many years as friends—sharing experiences, laughter, and a strong bond that only grew deeper over time. Though their relationship began as friendship, it became clear that they were meant to walk through life together. On December 4, 2023, after years of growing up side by side, they officially began dating. Almost a year later, on August 10, 2024, Bertin surprised Carmi with a proposal, marking the start of an exciting new chapter. Now, as they look ahead to their future, they are filled with gratitude for the friendship that laid the foundation for their love, and for the people who have supported them along the way. They can’t wait to begin this next season of life together and are so excited to share it with all of you.
