Our relationship sparked at a music festival, and if you’ve never attended one before, there’s something truly magical about the experience… People from all walks of life gather in a beautiful setting to listen to good music, enjoy each other’s company, and create a sense of community.

Over the past six years, some of our fondest memories have been weekends that evoke those same positive feelings, so it seems appropriate to celebrate the start of our marriage by bringing together our community to emulate that environment as much as possible.

For our nuptials, Jim and I have rented out an entire summer camp, Camp Lindenmere, for the whole weekend in order to throw a festival style wedding weekend; we're calling it Wedstock!

What drew us to Camp Lindenmere is that they provide an inclusive space to host our entire guest list. Asking everyone to stay on-site gives us the opportunity to spend as much time with you as possible, and we hope the range of activities and events available will speak to your inner adventurer and make you feel young at heart.

Join us for as much, or as little, of the weekend's festivities as you feel comfortable. Details below.

Throughout the day on Friday, guests can arrive at Camp Lindenmere and check-in to get comfortable for the weekend. Guests will be assigned a private room or a cabin for their accommodations.

Don't worry, every accommodation at Camp Lindenmere has air conditioning, heat, and running hot water.

We're hoping to get as much time with our family and friends as possible! On Friday evening, anyone who is able is invited to join our Welcome Party at Camp Lindenmere's Canteen building. We'll have dinner, drinks, and disco!

Dancing and listening to music is Jim's and my favorite wedding activity, so we plan for every event to have the chance to enjoy tunes.

Friday evening there will be music outside the Canteen, and when the sun goes down, guests can join the silent disco by utilizing wireless headphones and switching between three channels/playlists. Expect a fire and some smores! After the party, guests can return to their rooms to rest up for the big day on Saturday.

Light breakfast will be available from 9:00-10:00 am in the dining hall for the early birds. Starting at 10:00 am, there will be a full brunch, including a Bloody Mary and mimosa bar.

Throughout the day Saturday, wedding guests can enjoy all of the amenities Camp Lindenmere's has to offer - relax by the pool, spend the day on the lake, create arts and crafts, or join in a friendly game of sports (emphasis on friendly, we don't want any wedding day injuries)!

Since there will not be an organized lunch on Saturday, a snack cart will be cruising throughout camp as well as food items on the hotel's screened porch.

Our hope is that our loved ones can experience a fun-filled, relaxing weekend celebrating with the soon-to-be Dessoyes!

Under the Lindendome Pavilion - right in front of the ceremony site - guests can gather for pre-ceremony drinks and hors d'oeuvres while waiting for the nuptials to begin.

Our ceremony will be held on-site at Camp Lindenmere's amphitheater, which is not a far walk from accommodations. From the Lindendome, wedding attendants will walk over, take their seats, and witness the start of our marriage!

Let the party begin! From cocktail hour at the Dining Hall, guests will make their way to the pavilion for dinner at 7:00 pm. Beth and Jim then expect you to show off your moves on the dance floor! Not much of a dancer? Don't worry... there will be plenty of non-dancing activities, including a VW photo booth, lawn games, an "I Spy" challenge and, of course, good conversations with good company.

Due to a sound ordinance, our reception has a strict end time at 11:00 pm.

The party never stops! Following the reception, those wanting to continue the festivities can change into something bright and comfortable and head to the Canteen for our "Let Love Glow" celebration accompanied by late night pizza. Bask in the neon lights and keep the party going until the wee hours of the morning. Just remember to catch enough Zs for our final brunch on Sunday!

A light breakfast will be available from 9:00-10:00 am for early risers. Come join the newlyweds at 10:00 am in the Dining Hall for a send-off brunch before leaving Wedstock.
