Things to Do
KC streetcar
Hotel Kansas City is in the heart of downtown and right on the streetcar route. If you're in KC for multiple days, let the streetcar be your guide to the most popular restaurants and bar districts in town. It's free and easy to navigate!
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
The Nelson Atkins Museum of Art is a must visit if you have time. It's located close to the plaza so you can easily juggle shopping and art in the same afternoon. (and, this will be right off of the streetcar route in 2025!)
First Friday in the Crossroads
The Crossroads district is one of our favorite places to go, and our wedding weekend happens to intersect with a Kansas City favorite -- First Friday's. This is a really fun event with just about everything... food, music, art, and cocktails.
A slight caution that it is usually pretty busy, so this might not be an ideal activity if you're worn out and not in the mood to navigate crowds and lines. Our Welcome Reception will also be on Friday and will end early enough for those who want to check out "the scene". (don't stay out too late!!!)
