Many of you are dear family and friends from out of town. We know Carbonado is a little out of the way, whether you might be coming from Oklahoma or Kenya!

If you need a place to stay in the area, first we'd like to offer our yard! If you are the camping type, please let us know if you'd like to reserve a spot on our grass. We would be most happy to host you (and will certainly offer our facilities for your use). We've also listed a few hotels that are a 10-30 minute drive from where we'll be getting married. We encourage you to look further online for hotels and AirBnBs close to Carbonado that suit your taste and budget.

We also encourage out of town guests to take advantage of what the Seattle area has to offer. The city itself is a wonderful place, and Seattle is a little over an hour's drive to the venue if you'd prefer to stay in the city and sight-see around the wedding.

This area of the Pacific Northwest is also a unique treasure for anyone who likes hiking or just wants to enjoy the scenery. Under the "Things to Do" tab on our website, we've added a few websites on local hikes, places to go, and sights to see (we encourage you to take a ferry ride!). We hope our wedding gives you a good excuse to come have some extra fun.

From Seattle, go south on I-5. Take I-405 North to Washington Highway 167; head south toward Kent/Auburn. Follow 167 for about 20 miles, until you see signs for State Route Highway 410 to Sumner/Buckley. Exit and follow 410 for 7 miles. Turn right at the light onto Mundy Loss Road. Turn left at the t-intersection at the end of Mundy Loss (toward the bridge) onto Washington Highway 165. Follow 165 through Burnett and Wilkeson. The highway will curve to the right as you drive through Wilkeson. Follow the highway up the hill until you come to a stop sign. You'll see a sign telling you the Fairfax Bridge is out - go straight through the stop sign. You'll find parking for the wedding about a half mile past the stop sign.
