This was the first time we saw each other since we started talking intentionally with each other. I remember waking up one Sunday and knowing that there was nothing that could go wrong that day, asking Gabe if he wanted to be my date to this wedding, AND HE SAID YES?!

After the wedding, we road tripped to Yellowstone for the weekend and spent the time getting to know each other better. One night on a walk around the geysers he called my his girlfriend. SO SWEET!

Two weeks after the Yellowstone adventure, I really missed him and wanted to be with him again. So I booked a plane ticket for two weeks out and flew to Wisconsin. We spent the time enjoying coffee together at a bunch of different parks, asking each other so many more questions, and just enjoying our time together!

This trip was the most spontaneous. Again, I really missed him and wanted to see him...and after I said that he bought a flight FOR JUST A FEW HOURS LATER and by that night he was here. It was the best. We went on a gator hunt, I took him to the beach for his first time, we went surfing, and he got to experience his first Ritter Shabbat.

After a long period of not seeing each other because of covid exposures, I finally got to go back and spend a week in Wisconsin again. One night he was talking about this really yummy root beer in Duluth and then our friend suggested we take a trip there...so we did! The next morning the three of us drove up to Duluth, spent the day exploring the town, and got that really yummy root beer he kept going on about. If you are wondering, it was absolutely worth the drive.

A week later he was back in sunny Florida. This time we introduced him to our friends, took him to Fun Spot and enjoyed a fun night riding carnival rides, and shared another sweet Shabbat together.

The best trip of them all. I had been hoping he would propose on NYE for MONTHS and since we were spending the weekend at the cabin in wayyy north Minnesota with friends and his family I thought for sure this had to be it. Well NYE came and went and there was still no ring. As sad as I was, I knew it probably wasn't going to happen and still enjoyed our adventures through the very snowy woods. On January 1st we went on a hike with just the two of us and at the top he asked me to marry him :') It was absolutely perfect and the best way to start this new chapter.

And now we are continuing to visit each other, go on fun adventures, and create new memories while planning our wedding!!! He is planning on moving here this summer and I can't wait to have him around!
