When I (Bethany) was younger, I told Pawpaw that i would never get married. That changed when I met Cordell. We started dating when I moved up to Wisconsin in the summer of 2018.

We had moved into an apartment with a friend and lived there for 5 years. In those 5 years we got to know each other. What the other one liked and didn't like and slowly started falling deeper in love. We occasionally talked about marriage and if we wanted to take that next step.

Then we decided to get a place of our own. So, in 2023 we bought a trailer house, and moved in. We've experienced the good and the bad over the course of two years and FINALLY!!!! after 7 years Cordell popped the question. Cordell had the whole day planned from the biscuits and gravy we ate for breakfast, to the escape room and a rage room. Then went on a short hike and that's where he proposed. I was so excited I almost threw up on him, but I said yes.

So, I'm glad to say that we are going to take that next step in life together. In October of 2026 (only took 8 years but we got there) well start a new journey together.
