If You Ask Daniel: Daniel and Bethany’s love story began when she saw his chiseled jawline on his Hinge profile and couldn’t resist dropping a like. Daniel was immediately blown away that a woman that beautiful would even give him the time of day. They began texting and quickly scheduled a first date. They talked frequently over the phone in the days leading up to their first date at Rocco’s Tacos. The first date lasted hours but still felt like not enough time with each other. A second date was planned for the very next day at church. And that’s really all it took. Daniel was smitten and ready for many more dates. Bethany needed some time to make sure she wasn’t being love bombed. In the end they both realized that they were meant to be together and wanted to spend the rest of their lives with each other.
If You Ask Bethany: After moving into a new apartment and finishing up an internship and a job, never in a million years did I expect to meet a man quite like Daniel. I soon experienced firsthand what everyone means when they say “it happens when you least expect it.” Daniel and I went on our first date to Rocco’s Tacos in Naples, Florida. From the start, I knew there was a spark between us and something different about Daniel. He was kind, intelligent, thoughtful, and caring. After we had our tacos and margaritas, it appeared neither of us wanted the date to end. We continued the date with a beach walk during sunset, following by ice cream at Ben and Jerry’s. On our first date, we planned our second date. From that point forward, Daniel Ibarra and I have been inseparable.
Fast forward, Daniel and I have had countless memories together - from traveling to Orlando and introducing him to my sister one week into our relationship to spending our Monday evenings watching The Bachelor and (a few) Sunday nights watching Star Wars. Each hour spent with Daniel seems to go by too fast. I am eternally grateful that I have met not only the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, but my very best friend.
On June 14, 2025, Daniel Ibarra got down on one knee and asked me to marry him (and duh, I said YES). I said 'yes’ to Daniel on June 14, 2025, but I also can’t wait to say ‘yes’ to him today, tomorrow, and everyday we have together. I love Daniel Ibarra til the very last breath I have. I wish there were the right words to describe how over-the-moon excited I am to marry the love of my life. February 1, 2026 can’t come soon enough. Let’s get married, Daniel Ibarra!
