The Union Terrace is a classic Madison hangout along the water where anyone can come for a snack/meal, a pint at Der Rathskeller beer hall, and views of various watersports. The weather in March can vary quite a bit but is often chilly along the water so make sure to bring layers!

This cave sports impressive stalagmites and stalactites and is located ~30-40 minutes from downtown Madison. This was a favorite of Bethany's whenever she would visit Madison as a kid.

The Madison Children's Museum is a great stop for families! Open Wednesday–Sunday from 9 am–4 pm, plus late on Thursdays til 8 pm.
