My favorite thing to tell people is that I got engaged in sweatpants and it could not have been more perfect.

I moved in with Jordan in April of 2023 and we had talked about getting married every day since. We looked at rings that previous February when he was out to visit me in Rapid City for the Black Hills Stock Show. I had an idea it was coming, but not a clue as to when. It had gotten to a point I had almost forgot about it, until I saw him down on one knee. It was a typical Friday night in July for us. We had finished up doing chores and all that was left was to go down and feed the horses. I had pulled out my mare, Chanel, and proceeded to feed her grain. Jordan looked lost, almost in a daze, while I was trying to speak with him about what all needed to get done over the weekend. He was so quiet in those few minutes I knew something big was on his mind, but I had no idea has to what. I walked around to the other side of Chanel and there he was. Down on one knee. I of course said YES! and we are so excited to start this new chapter of our lives together!
