Bethany and Evan worked together at a Panera Bread before a coworker introduced them to each other. On October 26, 2020, they went on their first date in Towson, MD. Since then, they have traveled to New York, Dewey and Bethany Beaches, Wilmington DE, and Destin Florida. They have frequented Longwood Gardens roughly twice a year since they began dating. They got engaged on a hike up Mt. Nittany on April 28, 2024. In May of 2024, they moved to the Durham-Raleigh area together.
