Bethany: "I met Shaun in the fall of 2009 at the beginning of my freshman year at Baylor. We were both a part of the LEAD LLC in Allen/Dawson Residence Halls and became friends. We were close all through college, but didn't start dating until the end of my senior year when I made the first move. Not surprising. We did the long distance thing for a few years while I was in dental school until Shaun was able to move out to Denver. He proposed on October 24, 2015 (my half birthday) after the Baylor Homecoming game. So now we're getting married and that's why you're reading this."

Shaun: "Twas a classic tale of boy meets girl, girl says, 'Who are you? Shut your mouth! Get out of here!', boy and girl still somehow become friends, boy slowly catches feelings for girl years later, boy slowly but surely escapes the friend zone, boy and girl start dating much to the surprise of no one, boy moves across the world for grad school and continues to date girl long distance, boy totally doesn't cry very manly tears for leaving her, boy returns home, boy proposes to girl at Baylor Homecoming, girl says yes, boy moves to Denver, boy and girl plan wedding, boy and girl disagree on things like photographers and wedding cakes, girl gets her way, boy goes with it because things are better this way anyway, You know, the usual."
