We recommended a few hotels on the Travel tab, including the Holiday Inn Express across the street from the venue. Please note, we will not have blocks at any of the hotels, and we enourage our out of town friends and family to book rooms as soon as possible.

The official dress code is cocktail attire. We would love to see suits or dress shirts with ties, dresses of any length, or pant suits. Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident! Please, please, please no denim.

The weather in October can be quite warm during the day still with slightly more reasonable temperatures as the sun sets. Fear not though, the majority of the wedding day festivities will be inside to help keep everyone cool and comfortable.

We have decided to make this evening an adults-only event. Only guests specifically listed on your invitation/RSVP are invited and we kindly ask that you do not bring children.

Not at all! He's always been known as Alex (his middle name) among family to differentiate himself from his dad, Dr. David S. Hurst. He switched to "David" when explaining the middle name situation became too annoying, but has always felt "Alex" is more authentic to him.
