Carter joined Psalm 100, UNC's co-ed Christian a cappella group, which Bethany had already been a member of for 2 years. Both Bethany & Carter auditioned for the group "on a whim" - seems like it worked out well for both parties?

Bethany & Carter both fell for each other throughout their shared time in Psalm 100!

Their first date was a 12-hour-long there-and-back hiking trip to Three Top Mountain - something very chill and low stakes, yaknow?

Carter asked Bethany to be his girlfriend, and they started this new chapter the only way that made sense - eating hibachi and watching Interstellar (Bethany somehow guessed the plot twist within 30 minutes).

Their first "I love you"s were exchanged amidst a hike to Black Balsam Knob near Asheville!

First holiday season together where Bethany & Carter got to meet extended family - a rite of passage, if you will!

They celebrated their 6-monthiversary with a very, very, very spectacular Waffle House dinner.

Their first Valentine's Day spent together, celebrated by the start of a Paint By Numbers project (which took 572 days to finish...)

Carter & Bethany attended their last basketball game as students in the UNC vs DUKE basketball game. Fun fact - UNC lost every game which Carter was in live attendance...

The couple sang in their last Psalm 100 a cappella concert as seniors - the end of an era.

Bethany & Carter graduated from UNC Chapel Hill as college sweethearts!

They moved to Charlotte where Bethany started her first job as a Dental Hygienist and Carter worked as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department.

Charlotte-living included hosting friends, growing as young professionals, and making memories!
